Mayfly and Junebug Designs LLC began in 1999 as a photo card, sent to artist Kelly Kirkland's family and friends to celebrate her son Hunter's first Valentine's Day. Hunter was born in May and Kelly in June, thus the company name. Daughter Montie was born in 2002, and the business began to grow. After several moves, Kelly and her husband finally returned to their hometown of Austin, Texas in 2005, this time with children in tow. A third child, daughter McAlpine, came along in 2006. Mayfly and Junebug continues to thrive here in Austin, our favorite place on earth!

Over the years, our retailers around the country have become our friends, making the growth of Mayfly and Junebug Designs all the more gratifying.

Mayfly and Junebug Designs' products are now carried in over 200 fine stationery and gift boutiques in the United States and Puerto Rico.
